Expertise & Services

Our Expertise

Since 2022, Van For Life has developed genuine expertise in field humanitarian action. Our strength lies in our ability to respond quickly and effectively where needs are most urgent.

Thanks to our network of partners and fully controlled logistics - from sorting warehouses in Switzerland to convoys reaching conflict zones - we maintain complete oversight of the distribution chain.

Our expertise is also human : engaging directly, listening, understanding, and responding to real needs. This proximity sets us apart and ensures that every mobilized resource has a tangible, immediate, and measurable impact.

Our Services

Our organization has developed a range of humanitarian services that address both urgent needs and long-term challenges. Every action is designed to be targeted, effective, and directly beneficial to people in need.

Delivery of Essential Goods

Our solidarity supply chain enables us to distribute essential goods - food, clothing, medical supplies - to populations affected by forced displacement and vulnerable individuals.

Support for local Associations

Our teams also intervene where emergencies occur. By engaging and collaborating daily with local field associations, our Emergency Fund allows us to act quickly in support of these structures and adapt our aid to actual needs. This ensures our assistance is targeted and optimized. Our short-term actions are intended to be sustainable, depending on both long-term needs and available resources. Areas heavily impacted by migration flows are increasing, and the needs continue to grow.

The collaboration with Med’Equali Team in northern Greece is a prime example, as this partnership has become formalized and sustainable since January 2025.

Global Integration

In addition to our emergency fieldwork, Van For Life is committed to projects supporting sustainable and positive integration for refugees, particularly in Switzerland.

Beyond the repatriation and housing of dozens of Ukrainian refugees in Switzerland at the outbreak of the conflict, we also support voluntary returns to Ukraine.

In 2024, Van For Life launched its first initiative for Unaccompanied Minor Refugees (UMRs) hosted in a reception center in Geneva.

To foster positive integration on multiple levels, we raise awareness among the Swiss population about the challenges faced by refugees, encouraging them to become active participants in simple, beneficial social integration. To this end, we have implemented a host family and sponsorship system.

Initially, we provided material support, but our ambition quickly expanded to include the host family system as a sustainable integration model.
